100 Word Challenge – Week #4

Wordle: Untitled

Yet again we have had a wonderful time on the 100Word Challenge. Last week saw 150 entries by children writing creatively about the picture of the elephant. They are all SO good & I have decided to showcase some each week. Now these are not necessarily the BEST but they made me smile or I could see that the writer had really thought about their work.

****WEEK 3 SHOWCASE*****

Georgia from St Johns Waltham Chase

Connor from St Kentigerns Manchester

Joseph from Staining Primary Blackpool

Jordan from High Lawn Primary Bolton

This week we are going back to a word prompt. I want you to really think about your story before you write it. We had some that finished very quickly last week!

The prompt is ….the music seemed to come from …..

The 100 Word Challenge is for anyone under 16. You write your story then  post it on your class blog as usual and when it has been moderated, you can then link it here using the linky below. You can link until the following Thursday.  You can put a title and the URL for the post not the blog! If you’re not sure ask your teacher. If you don’t have a class blog, you can link straight here!

You can come back at any time and click on the other entries and leave comments.

Just to remind you that this challenge is about CREATIVE writing. When you are thinking about your piece really think about the words you are using. You only have 100 after all!

Don’t forget to try and visit some other schools and leave some comments on their writing.

If you would like to show the 100 Word Challenge on your blog, copy the badge and code on the right side bar!
