100 Word Challenge – Week #6
IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
There will NOT be a 100 Word Challenge on 22nd April
The pot with the legs brought some fantastic entries to Week #5. Do make sure you pop & have a look. Many of them looked at things really differently and these are 5 of those I really liked!

For this week’s prompt we are going back to words but with a difference. Many of you will be on Easter holidays so will have some time to do some research. I want to you write a CREATIVE piece containing these 5 words:
however, yellow, gingerly, discovered, remarkable
Some of you may not not the meaning of all these words so you must look them up and make sure you use them in the proper way. To help your readers can you highlight the 5 words when you use them? This will help with your ICT skills too!
For our new members to the Challenge, you have to write a piece using the words given plus 100 words. Post on your class blog then upload it via the linky at the bottom. If you don’t have a blog or are a little confused, leave me a comment below and I’ll get back to you!
Don’t forget to read through your work before you post to check it makes sense and says what you wan to. As usual the link will stay open until midnight on Thursday 14th April. Do make sure you visit other entries and leave some good comments!
Enjoy the holidays if you are breaking up tomorrow!

Hi Mrs. Skinner,
You left a comment on one of my student’s blogs (kidblog.org/CKHSGrade7) asking me to contact you, so I am. I hope my students participated appropriately in this week’s challenge!
