100 Word Challenge – Week #5

100 Word Challenge

Before you go any further please pop over to last week’s entries. We had some late arrivals and they deserve some comments. Choose two from a different part of the list! WEEK#4
There were nearly 130 entries last week and we have to welcome some new schools!  That is truly wonderful. (I will get to comment on every one but I may take a few days!)We had the crocodile doing all sorts of things and not everyone had a real one in their story. As usual, an impossible to task to select those for showcasing but here they are. Remember, they are not necessarily the best:

Georgie from Class 12 Hotspur Primary

Trey from Dolly Varden Bloggers

Autumn from Brunswick House

The 100WC is a weekly creative writing challenge for children under 16. You are given a prompt of either some words or a picture  and can use up to 100 words to write a CREATIVE piece. This is then linked below. The link is open until midnight on 11th October. Please link all posts individually and make sure you use the URL of the post not the blog.

This is so that folks can read all the entries. Make sure you visit as many as you can and leave some constructive comments to help improve writing. I know many of you are involved in Quad Blogging and the 100 Word Challenge could be something you share with your partner schools!

Now for this week’s prompt. It is:

…suddenly all the lights went out..

Remember that you can use it anywhere in your writing. Take care with your spelling and read your work through before publishing to make sure it makes sense!

Good luck everyone!
